August 30, 1948 - February 11, 2005

      Virginia LaVance Jay (‘Ginger Baker’), born on August 30, 1948, “danced her way to Heaven on February 11, 2005, at age 56.  She was always a loving and cherished friend; now baking cookies and cakes for the angels.  Her friends and extended family in Ibiza, NY, and Miami, FL, will always remember her.  Rest in peace funny lady.”  Beth Longley learned from Ginger’s sister, Francine, that Ginger had died following complications from a hip replacement in Miami Beach where she had been living for many years.
